At the age of 45, my family suffered a catastrophic event with life-changing consequences that forced me to re-evaluate my future and reflect on what was important in life. Embracing the values of family, bonds, happiness and health, often taken for granted, became paramount in ensuring a positive future for not just me but my family around me.
Through the next few years, I discovered the importance of spending quality time with our two-family dogs exploring the great outdoors, and how this positively impacted my mental health and supported my mind and body through challenging barriers and times. It occurred to me that not only was I benefiting from this quality time, but my two dogs were also gaining the same benefits…
It is my strong belief that the holistic approach of healing and supporting a mind and body should not only apply to us humans but to our faithful canine companions too!
The passion and beliefs I have for what I do have formed the foundations for the ethos of Mind, Body & Dog.
Every dog is unique and we all know they have their own distinct personalities and characters. They also have their own individual physical, mental and emotional needs.
Mind, Body & Dog will therefore ensure that every dog in its care will have a tailored package to meet all their needs and that of the Client, whether that be a lengthy 2-hour trail walk taking in our beautiful heaths and woodlands, an intense workout on our sandy beach and splashing around in the sea through to a short relaxed lead walk, a play session in your home or just checking in for some interaction or feeding.
Get in touch for a no-obligation Meet & Greet to see how I can help you and your canine companion.
Every dog deserves to be a happy, healthy and content dog!
